DISCRIPTION

Facemask "Mblo" wich was danced on festivities within the society in the female Gba Gba dance ritual. Huge size mask painted with organic pigmentation. The eyes are painted with fine openings underneath for the dancer to see wile performing his act. Important scarification marks and a typical Baule eight shaped mouth. we can see great ware from tribal use at the sides and backside of the object.
